DAS AWKSCHT FESCHT

For 3 days each summer at Das Awkscht Fescht, you can find an auto show and flea market, plus entertainment, arts and crafts, finally ending the festival with a fireworks display! Included in your admission is an antique auto show, a special interest auto show, a kids show, arts and craft vendor area, picnics in the park, bingo and a bandshell featuring many performances throughout the Fescht.

ROASTING EARS of CORN FESTIVAL

Around the 3rd weekend in August, this family-friendly fun includes two award-winning powwow drums and traditional American Indian music, storytelling, and dancers from tribes throughout North America. Vendors offer handmade Native American crafts and artwork, and demonstrations include flintknapping, primitive cooking, artifact displays, atlatl and tomahawk throwing, flute making, sweetgrass basketry, porcupine quillwork, and more. A full concession stand offers traditional foods like buffalo and frybread, and volunteers man a large children’s craft area. The festival is a local favorite and its fame spreads farther each year!

  

WHEELS of TIME SRA

The WOTSRA was started in 1977 in the Lehigh Valley Area of Pennsylavania by a small group of street rodders that had been "Hot Rodders" back in the years when that term was used. They started small, meeting in garages of members and gaining members as time went on. The membership is over 100 man and women, all with the same ideals and interests. Come check out all the wonderful street rods as wellas crafts for kids, bingo, food , etc.
