Over 60 food and craft vendors will be offering everything from garlic vinegar and garlic ice cream to garlic-themed pottery Pocono Garlic Festival at Shawnee Mountain Ski Areaand paintings. A showcase of local musical talent on 2 stages; including the Pocono Bluegrass & Folk Society stage, educational demonstrations, 4th Annual Garlic Eating Contest and plenty of children’s activities make this a great family event!

The festival runs from 9am to 6pm each day and offers plenty of opportunities to taste, sample and purchase all kinds of chile peppers. Think you can eat the most chile peppers? Then participate in the chile pepper eating contest. You may want to take a shot at the chile salsa eating contest too! Wagon rides to the Meadowview Farm are provided to see the Chile Pepper Fields. Music will be provided all day as well.

Bring your “A-ppetite game” for our doughnut-eating contest for kids and adults!
Kids’ will love sack races, apple colonial games, and colonial dress up. As well as creating a custom paper model of Burnside Plantation, kid and pet-friendly bandanas, and pine cone bird feeders.
